The Roomba adjusts from carpets to hard flooring and back to carpets again and successfully cleans right into the corners, and underneath the furniture. The first time I used my roomba I could not believe the amount of dust it picked up in the filter area it was full of 1cm thick dust and prior to the roomba I hoovered every day and considered my house quite clean, considering we have 3 children, birds and dogs living with us.

It can be somewhat noisy if it gets stuck or jammed during its cleaning cycle in tricky areas, it can not clean the stairs but would you believe it will avoid the stairs so if you leave roomba on upstairs it wont fall down it has a special sensor to sense drops, how clever is that! I am very sure that these problems will be eliminated as soon as the engineers can develop a roomba with legs.
